What can you expect from being a candidate with Hamilton Munro?

When you apply for a role with us, or when we approach you for a position, you will enter a clear and defined process with us. We’re all busy, so let’s keep it simple and clear for everyone. We work to agreed timescales to have an initial conversation, receive and review your cv, and provide feedback for a cv submission to a job you are applying for. Prior to cv’s being submitted to clients, we agree placeholders for cv review and feedback sessions, first and second interview dates, and feedback sessions from both of these. This means we can manage all of our candidates expectations around timescales.  As we recruit within the Technical Sales market, lots of our candidates are travelling, meaning the planning and preparation of an interview is so critical to ensure all diaries are free to attend, and with plenty of notice! Preparing for an interview is an important task, so the most notice we can give to you, the better!


Once a cv has been submitted, and interviews are agreed and have commenced, you can expect a diary invite to discuss feedback from the interview and regular communication about the status of the role. All candidates will receive verbal feedback following an interview. We are here to negotiate you a fair and appealing offer that will excite you and ensure you are feeling valued as you head into your new role. We encourage candidates to speak to us about any issues they have, questions they have about their new role, and support you fully through your offer negotiation period.  It is our job to make sure you head into your new role full of confidence and making sure you’ve had
a positive experience with us.
