Introducing Becky
Becky’s recruitment career began in 2013 working for Extra Personnel. She was he lead recruiter for a large publics sector client. She ran a service led, fast paced and busy temp desk of over 130 candidate’s week to week.
After these first 3 years, she joined a specialist construction Recruiter, Think Recruitment, where she managed all Business Communications and Marketing campaigns. This was Becky’s first insight into a Marketing role and he loved it! She got involved with the website design, was in charge of all content on social media platforms, design and implementation of mailshots and newsletters to clients and candidates weekly and monthly. Her role was a hybrid role, and allowed Becky to still work closely with the consultants in the business and support them in their sales function, by creating mailshots and marketing material and her initiative to introduce a weekly internal communication bulletin reinvigorated a collaborative environment.
The social media campaigns were successful in driving the brand into the marketplace and in turn, strengthened brand awareness and the attraction and acquisition of new talent into the business. This business sponsored her to complete her CIM in 2016 which broadened her knowledge of marketing and communications in a recruitment capacity.
She then moved into the Rec2Rec space where she got the buzz back from recruiting!! In a hugely candidate led market, Becky developed excellent relationships with both active and passive candidates and learned how to engage talent from all industries. It was just over 2 and half years later when she decided to build a business of her own, using her 7 years’ knowledge and experience! And so, Hamilton Munro was born…
